Let people play where they wanna play it makes no difference. I'm in international districts a lot to group with my european friends. I could care less if other europeans came over to play in american districts. Big deal.

I went to america for favorable favor... but I don't like the waw system (worlds at war) because it encourages racism...

I'd prefer factions based on the GW gods

Thumbs down

Well, this has to be the petition I disagree with more than any other I have seen on this forum. Let people play where they want. Period. The current system is even too restrictive. Europe server sucks at the moment. Better solve the problems with that instead of forcing people to play. There is a REASON why everybody seems to pack and go.

It doesn't really encourage racism. It encourages rather hyperactive nationalism. In some ways that's a lot worse.

I havent read half of the stuff people have written ok, but i kind of agree with this being from europe myself.
People here really do have no chance of improving if those people leaving stay in american servers etc and others keep switching..

But on the other hand i really can't blame some people for switching, i mean, look at half the teams formed in european servers. Without going into detail if americans and koreans could see the kind of teams that are formed they'd see what i mean, its an excuse of a team most of the time. People form pug teams and just go as soon as they get a full team just hoping for a miracle and some kind of free fame

Maybe people should be restricted from changing otherwise i guess this wont stop in euro servers, and after all, the international districts would still be open if they wanted to play with others.
Myself i feel almost embarrassed for europe and use the intern districts, but if i were asked if id change to American servers, the answers still no all the way. I dont see why this option is open in the first place, if people living in Europe are from america then switch your server to america straight away...

As for the lag, it really is stupid at the moment, i've been thrown off around 4-5times today at key points, but i dont think lag is much of an excuse to change as its not all that bad most of the time. ANet have already released statements saying they're trying to deal with it.

And to Lagg, I only said that because Gaile said so in one of her posts recently, she said the American servers could by all means take the extra haul. Though I'll agree I doubt they want American servers full and Euro servers empty.

I mainly think Europeans should stick to European servers for now, because that's what Gaile suggested in a post of hers a short while back, she said she'd recommend people just stick to the euro servers and see how things turn out in later updates, and I trust Anet's judgement personally.

but then i cant yell "GO AMERICA!!"
moving on to the main topic, i have several good european friends from GW, and forcing them over to europes servers would suck. also, europe has a few more languages than america; thats y most of my british friends came over to the american servers. let em stay i say!

No no don't misunderstand, I believe that by all means players should be able to choose which servers they play on. When I say I think Europeans should play on euro servers I don't mean I think they should be forced to go, I just think people should choose to go back when the problems are fixed.

Never wanting someone to be forced anywhere.

What would be -nice- would be if each character could be 'associated' with different servers (if one so chose to do so). For instance:

Characters 1-2 America
Characters 3-4 Europe

That would be nice for gaming with International friends (two RL friends are in England) and would allow us to "visit" one another on the others' server.

The issue is Underworld and Fissue. Those players like Mavrik havent made it there yet by the look of it. If there were Favorship statistics for ownership it will read

Usa 48%
Korea 49%
Europe 3%

If I could change I proberbly would switch (Locked in Europe)

Eventually all PVE players will switch from Europe who wish to have Underworld access. Anet will have to address this issue. I dont think they could see Europe being so poor at PVP. Meglomania thing between USA and Korea.

The only people suffering are PVE Euopean players who are now switching.

Naming the Servers American, European and Korean was probably not the smartest move. But since things are the way they are, I'd say let people play where and how they want. The last thing I'm thinking about when I'm in PvP is America. I'm more concerned with shutting down that monk and keeping that fighter off my butt.

Yes, they could and should have foreseen that. Online gaming isn't as developed in Europe as it is in US or KOR. Only a few EU countries have a significant number of broadband internet connections (like UK, GER and FRA). Even there, there aren't that many people playing online as in US and KOR.

There should be only two territorries: Korea and International. That would eliminate the need for territory switching. Problem gone...

its not about how Euro having a lack of interest or broadband, its about AMOUNTS

granted, theres a sorry lack of good BB here in euro, but its about the Quantity and Quality of the players.
Korea has State run and set up cyber cafes, for godess sakes. and the USA is full of kids in thier basements, or peeps in thier lofts/basemnt/appartment ect that can get reasonable conections and are into handing each-other thier assess in baskets for fun

the reason most people are swarming usa servers is cause they want to get to UW for thier PvE armour.

this World at War (waw or better War of Worlds) is not realy doing any good.
i have said it once, frell i have said it time and again...

give up with the favour of the gods being tied to UW and Fissure

make the Favour be just that..The Gods reside on Your sides server alone and then only your side can get quests from them

reason? everyone can get thier damn armour, everyone can get into UW (provided they have assended) and so long as you pop from place to place, everyone can get the quests from the gods, then just do each one at a time and get the rewards the next time your side has the favour, all in one go!

hmph......and so far, i only like 1 peace of armour in the fancy 15k stuff, and that is the ranger galls bikini top

euro peeps would not need to be on usa servers then, other than cause they wanted to be with thier friends al the time and not to have to reset to international every time they came on...

sorted
